At Holy Family Senior School, we embrace the exciting world of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics to inspire our students to become the problem solvers and innovators of tomorrow.

Our STEAM program integrates hands-on learning experiences that encourage critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration. Through a blend of engaging projects, experiments, and interactive activities, students delve into real-world challenges, applying knowledge from multiple disciplines to solve problems creatively.

Our STEAM initiatives are supported by experts in the area of STEAM from Clare Education Centre’s Pilot STEAM in Primary Schools Programme, Junior Achievement Ireland and other outside organisations.

To further support this Holy Family Senior School engages in a whole school approach to Science Week, Space Week, Maths Week, Creative Schools Week and many other national and international led initiatives aimed at children at primary school level. Many of our students are also given the opportunity to study at The University of Galway’s Youth academy.

Keep an eye out for all the up-to-date STEAM activities and challenges the students of HFSS engage with on our social media pages.
